The New Jersey Department of Health (DOH) recently announced a new online system for submitting your annual Right to Know Survey. Along with the online system, DOH additionally announced:
- An official RTK Coordinator for each school district must be registered in the new system before Sept 15, 2104.
- The 2013 RTK Survey submission deadline has been extended from July 15, 2014 to February 15, 2015.
- Although the DOH is requiring an online submission for each facility, you still must mail hard copies to the required county and local agencies.
All public employers are required by law to provide a complete inventory this year of all hazardous chemical present in the facilities. Even if you do not store or use any reportable chemicals at your facility, you will still need to complete the first page of the survey.
Partner’s Brian Maitland, CSP, CET, CPSI in partnership with EIRC, presented a live webinar on July 11th, 2014 discussing the specific changes and requirements affecting your institution.
